Privacy Policy

Signature Detailing LLC ("Signature Detailing," "we," "us") operates signaturedetailing.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or send us a service inquiry, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

Information You Give Us

When you submit our quote request form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle year and make/model, ZIP code, the services you're interested in, your paint condition and preferred timeline, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the details box. We use it to respond to your inquiry and provide the services you asked about, to keep ordinary business records, and, if you become a customer, to send you a request for a review of your experience.

When you submit the form, it goes to our own server (hosted on Cloudflare), which screens it for spam and stores a copy in our lead database. Alongside what you typed, we store your IP address, your browser information, and the approximate country, city and region, plus the network provider, that Cloudflare determines from your connection. We keep those for security and spam prevention. Your submission is also processed by Jotform, our form provider, which stores it and sends our email notifications; Jotform's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy. We also use Brevo, a transactional email provider (Brevo's privacy policy), to send you a review request, to reach us if our primary email delivery fails, and to send us an internal weekly summary of new inquiries.

Submissions our spam filter blocks are kept in a separate log, so we can rescue a real inquiry caught by mistake, and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising measurement tools that collect information automatically when you browse:

• Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads measurement: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie-based identifiers. Google describes its practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Ad-click and referral details: if you arrive from an ad or another site, your browser may carry campaign parameters (such as Google's click identifier). We store these in your browser's local storage and, if you later submit our form, attach them to your inquiry so we know how you found us.
• Hosting and security logs: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
• Embedded maps: our contact page includes a Google Maps embed, which may set Google cookies when loaded.

How We Use Information

• Respond to your quote request and schedule or perform services
• Ask you, after we've done work for you, to leave a review of your experience
• Screen submissions for spam and protect the site from abuse
• Understand which advertising and referral sources bring customers to us
• Measure and improve how the site performs
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Emails We Send You

If you submit the form, you get a confirmation email. If we've completed work for you, we may send one request asking you to review us on Google. We don't send newsletters or promotional campaigns.

Our email provider adds a small invisible image to messages it sends, which tells it whether a message was opened, and rewrites links in those messages so it can count clicks. It also adds an unsubscribe header, so your email app may offer you a one-click unsubscribe. You can also just reply and ask us to stop emailing you, and we will.

Who We Share It With

Only service providers that make the site and our business work: Jotform (form processing), Brevo (email delivery), Resend (email delivery for our internal technical alerts and backups), Google (analytics, advertising measurement, maps), and Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and our lead database). Each processes data under its own privacy policy, linked above. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Our internal admin screen also shows a link next to each stored IP address that looks it up at IPinfo, a third-party IP information service, to help us tell real inquiries from automated spam. The address is only sent to IPinfo if one of us actually clicks that link; nothing is sent automatically.

Cookies and Your Choices

The analytics and advertising tools above rely on cookies and similar browser storage. You can control them:

• Block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings (this also clears the ad-attribution value we keep in local storage; it expires on its own after 90 days)
• Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser opt-out add-on
• Manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com

The site works fine with cookies blocked. You can still browse everything and submit the quote form. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals; there is no industry standard for them, and the site does not respond to them differently.

Data Retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to serve you and maintain business records, then delete it. When we delete an inquiry record, it is held in a recovery area for up to 90 days, so an accidental deletion can be reversed, and is then permanently erased. Submissions blocked by our spam filter are automatically deleted after 90 days. The small note our site stores in your browser about which ad or link brought you here expires after 90 days. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention controls. Our database platform keeps point-in-time recovery data for a limited window so the database can be restored after an accident; that data ages out on the platform's own schedule, not ours.

Once a week our system also emails a backup copy of the inquiry database to the technical administrator who maintains this site, so the records can be restored if the database or the hosting account is ever lost. That copy contains the same inquiry information described above, is sent to a single private mailbox, is not shared with anyone else, and is not used for marketing.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email greg@signaturedetailing.com or call 1-973-886-1306 and we'll take care of it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and we limit collection to what's listed here. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here.
